Atari 2600 Development Kit Documents

Here are the 2600 programming documents from an Atari 2600/7800 development kit.  The TIA manual was in pretty bad shape so a fair amount of "touch-up" work was done on some of the hand-drawn diagrams.  Sorry if the handwriting no longer matches the original exactly, but there were many gaps to fill in.  Hopefully the "look and feel" of the drawings have been preserved well enough.  The timing diagrams were pretty much left alone so you can see the relatively poor quality of the original that I worked from.

Note that these documents were updated by Darryl May in 1988 and are more recent than the documents that Charles Sinnett used for the restoration that he did in 1993.  Charles' restoration is the version of the 2600 manuals that is commonly available on the net.  Here is a list of the updates to Charles Sinnett's manual compiled by Eckhard Stolberg.

Here is Charles Sinnett's restored 2600 manual in Microsoft Word format in case anybody gets ambitious and wants to bring it up to date.  A PDF is also included for convenience.
